NEW ORLEANS JAZZ FEST 2011: The Never Borin' Spencer Bohren

When The Thrill is Back team first rolled into New Orleans, we were exausted, road-blind, hungry, dirty, intimidated and Brad was there. Our first interview would set the tone for the trip, and in Spencer Bohren we couldn't have had a kinder host or a better embassador to New Orleans. This Southern Gentleman is both a master of any instrument with strings and a consummate storyteller. He uses both skills in "The Long Black Line" - his visceral account of the collective uncertainty and anger following Hurricane Katrina. So here it is, the Spencer Bohren Interview Part 2.

Here, from his newest album Black Water Music is The Old Homestead.
