MFNW

During the first two weeks of September this fall, a few of us made the drive out to Portland to stay with our good friend Sam and catch some of MFNW. If you haven't heard of the festival, its well worth the trip. Performances included Panda Bear, Black Lips, Tallest Man On Earth,  Dan Mangan, Surfer Blood, Washed Out, and (my new favorite locals) Deelay Ceelay - among a dozen other bands we would've loved to see.

Hanging out at bars like the Crystal Ballroom and the Doug Fir Lounge, we ended up enjoying the shows way too much to get any good recordings. Here's a video though that I threw together while we were taking it easy, plus a live video of Portland's Deelay Ceelay.
