A King Among Blues-Men

Robert Johnson, the most influential blues musician who has ever lived, is an appropriate beginning to our weekly Lundi Legends series.

That's Robert below there in one of only two surviving photos of himself. Robert was a brilliant song writer, singer, snappy dresser, and his guitar playing is widely regarded as some of the best ever recorded. With a mere 41 songs recorded, many being additional takes of the same song, he has managed to change the world of music forever. Sadly he died of natural causes at 27 (as being poisoned by the husband of a woman he had been sleeping with was natural to his lifestyle).
