This weekend we had the great pleasure of sitting down with Nils Edenloff from the Rural Alberta Advantage. Nils has this incredible ability to pack a whole whack of ideas into just a few simple words. When you listen to the RAA you get transported to a different place; the outskirts of the city, the side of the trans Canada in August, or maybe if you are lucky, a sweltering camper van outside Guelph, Ontario. Hope you enjoy North Star of RAA's latest album Departing, along with an unreleased song that is as purdy as it is new. RAA will be playing Montreal's Osheaga Festival this Friday, the Calgary X-Fest Aug. 20th and the Ottawa Folk Festival Aug. 27th.
