It's hard to believe that a month has already passed since our journey to the vast blues mecca that is the American south. I guess time has a way of blowin' on slow and steady, like a tumbleweed you could say. Even further down that history highway was the Hillside weekend we first met southern gentlemen Sam Doores & The Tumbleweeds (Dan Cutler and Matt Bell). Joined by new tumbleweed Riley Downing and roomate Tarek Isham, the Thrill Is Back Team spent the Saturday afternoon at Isham/Doores' backyard and abandoned house next door, recording and recovering from one too many 2 steps the night before at their Saturn Bar set. Kudos to Ian Carleton and Brad Higham for their work on these videos, and keep your ears peeled for more from the trip to come, as well as the Tumbleweeds hoedown follow-up album coming out this June.
